VTLS to integrate WebFeat Express and WebFeat Custom solutions with ILS offerings

American Library Association Midwinter Meeting, Seattle, WA, January 20 , 2007— VTLS Inc. today announced a partnership with WebFeat enabling VTLS to offer the WebFeat Express and WebFeat Custom federated search solutions to new and existing clients. Once integrated with VTLS’s Virtua ILS (Integrated Library System), WebFeat will enable VTLS customers to simultaneously search unlimited numbers of resources from a single intuitive interface.

With visionary features like FRBR (Functional Requirements for Bibliographic Records), Update Notifications through SDI, User Reviews & Ratings, and a Smart Device interface to the catalog, Virtua sets a new standard of excellence for the library world. Virtua provides full multilingual support and leverages a solid Oracle™ foundation. Virtua is flexible software that lets administrators create custom profiles for each library and staff user, controlling access to over 600 functions throughout the library system.

The WebFeat component of Virtua will seamlessly integrate its catalog functions, remote user authentication and Interlibrary Loan (ILL).
